In mid-November Matt noticed a couple of bottom tooth buds. We also noticed an increased amount of drool. The teeth were slowly on their way.
Alex celebrated his first Thanksgiving and is no longer a vegetarian. He had mushy turkey with turkey gravy. Sounds disgusting, I know, but he loved it!
Our little turkey also decided he no longer wants to be swaddled. So much for weaning. Like most things, he just decided for himself.
Towards the end of November, Matt had to go to Toronto for an entire week so Alex had tons of mommy time.
We went to Jake's first birthday in early December. Alex napped in Jake's pack n' play halfway through the party which was fantastic for everyone. Matt and I actually got to eat some food and Alex was well rested enough to enjoy the whole party.
A week after Jake's birthday, Alex unfortunately came down with a touch of bronchitis. He is so cute when he is sick. Here he is waiting for his pediatrician.
He had a few fussy moments
but in general he was still all smiles.
A little less energetic and required more cuddles. I took a few days off to look after him. Some extra tlc and a course of antibiotics cleared him up in a week.
Good thing too because his recovery was just in time for the Clearwell Christmas party!
For some reason he has always been both fascinated and crazy about visiting my work.
We had a really good evening at the party. Alex even got to meet a Harry Potter magician...whatever that is...
More about Christmas next time!
