10 Months Old!

At 10 months old Alex weighed 21 lbs and 10 oz. Finally climbing up in percentile. He's at 41% as opposed to the 3% at birth. Taking photos with blocks is becoming a major challenge now.

Here's the best one of the lot:

He started pulling himself up to stand a lot more. Love his musical toy table!

With his new teeth he started trying new foods like puffs. Daddy was showing Alex how to feed himself and chew.

I had to go to a work conference for 3 days in mid-January. It was my first time away from Alex. When I got back it was apparent that he had missed me tons. He was mad at me for a couple of days but I won him back with snuggles and playtime.

Here's Alex and his toys

He also started showing a lot of interest in electronics. We tried to distract him with his toys but instead he only wanted a computer mouse, laptop, ethernet cable, usb cable, playstation etc.

We set up Alex's pack and play in our living room since he started crawling all over the house and needed a place to plop him down temporarily if we were multitasking. He loved the new addition!

And learned he could smash his face against the netting and make really funny faces

We got these lovely pillows as a housewarming present from Matt's brother, Jamie.
Looks like Alex is leaning towards Team America for now! He's eating the pillow.
How apt.

Still commando crawling.

Buzz Light Year hoodie from England.

Our monthly mommy group was held at our house this month...since we finally have one!

As you can see, Alex still thinks girls have cooties.

Here is his best buddy, Jake. They get up to the weirdest things.

Alex still loves books. Here's daddy reading him a bedtime story.

We walk over to the library whenever we can. He loves it there!

He also started trying to say "uh-oh"...only it comes out as "uhhh....uh-oh?"

He got some new stacking cups

Excited about SuperBowl 2011.

We went to Jake's house for a playdate. Alex is so excited that he can stand next to Jake now.

Sharing is caring.

Vroom! Vroom!

A co-worker of mine bought me this onesie for Alex when I was 7 months pregnant.
A year later, Alex is finally able to fit in it. It says "Future Harvard Freshman"
He's working on some heavy duty math here.

Let's see...

LaTeX Code: \\frac{1}{2}(\\cos(ax-bx)-\\cos(ax+bx))-\\frac{k}{2}(\\cos(ax+bx)+\\cos(ax-bx))=-1

We love watching him sleep.

We got a new printer and kept the box for Alex. He loves playing in it.
Sometimes we push it around the house and squee when he giggles in delight.

Alex is totally obsessed with the Playstation 3. We try to create barriers so he can't get to it but we're failing miserably. Trying to avoid buying a gate if we can. He keeps us on our toes for sure.

On his last day as a 10 month old he started saying MAMAMAMAMAMA.
He makes my heart melt!

We love our little goober so much!!
