Back in November Alex and I went to the Discovery Museum. He had a really great day! I meant to post photos last year but didn't seem to get around to it. So better late than never, here are my favorites:
All ready for the museum
Looking for a good parking spot. Looks busy!
Only been here 2 minutes and he already loves this place
We went to a room upstairs especially designed for babies
We found new shapes
And new textures
Alex found this flower fascinating
And tasty
VERY TASTY
Playing with blocks
Tasting them too
Didn't like the mirror area too much.
Chatting up the birds
Time for a quick snack
Visiting Bob the Builder
Alex wuz here
What a long day! All tuckered out and ready to go home.
Christmas was almost a month ago? Oops, kinda behind!
We learned that Alex is unsure about Christmas lights
and terrified of tinsel. In fact, he doesn't like anything feathery or ruffly...I guess he's going to be a real man's man.
He liked the lights more once they were on the tree.
This little orange thing was ripped out of an advent calendar and played a really tinny version of Jingle Bells. Alex enjoyed listening to Jingle Bells over...and over...and over...and OVER again.
Does this photo look familiar? Used on our 2010 Christmas card.
Presents under the tree started piling up fast. Mau decided to investigate.
The orange thing again. :|
We took Alex to Valley Fair mall and admired the Christmas decor.
He loved the mall and babbled the whole time.
At one point we tried to see if anyone at Macy's would take him home so we could catch up on some sleep. Even offered him at a discount.
Our plan failed. And since he enjoyed the Christmas decorations so much, we decided to take him to Christmas in The Park in San Jose.
Alex's best elf impression
Tree impression not as impressive
Tigger!!!!!!
With one more sleep until Christmas, Alex put out some snacks for Santa and his crew.
Christmas morning was lots of fun!! We helped him open presents. All ten million of them.
Santa brought him way too many.
Our Christmas crowns.
We were stuffed after Christmas dinner and decided to show Alex some of his new toys. After getting so many cool things though, he decided he only wanted to play with a water bottle.
