Alex - 9 Months Old

At 9 months, Alex was a whopping 20lbs and over 2 ft tall.



It's sometimes a challenge to get him to sit still these days



He started exploring objects by shaking them, banging them, dropping them, and throwing them before falling back on the tried-and-true method of gumming them.



The idea that you do something with an object is beginning to emerge, so we got him an activity center with lots of things he can can bang, poke, pull, turn and open. Plus he loves to stand now so it's perfect.






He started showing some signs of separation anxiety and is a bit addicted
to mommy. (I can't say I'm complaining though)




He tried puffs for the first time.
They're bits of cereal that melt in his mouth.
He loves the banana flavor.


His teeth are really starting to come through. He almost has 5.

We moved into our new house in January.
Hanging out with Daddy in our new living room.



Here he is in his room before we moved any furniture or toys in.




I introduced him to my childhood toys. He's obsessed with Pooh's faded nose.




We also found a little light up drum that he loves. He's really starting to enjoy
music now. He bops and dances whenever he hears a tune.
