Time is Flying!

So much for getting a chance to update my last post. Things have been busy in the Shah-Willis household. Nothing in particular but the daily routines take up a lot of time. Alex is just over 7 weeks now and I can't believe time is going by so quickly. He's up to about 8.5 lbs. He's gotten even MORE lovely presents from England this week but I haven't had a chance to take any photos of the outfits themselves. We'll just try to get him in them instead and have him model.

Here are the latest photos.

On weekend mornings Alex and Matt like to watch English football together. Matt is an Arsenal supporter and Alex will probably follow in Daddy's footsteps.

If Arsenal lose, the rest of the day looks like this:

We learned the hard way that the "Newborn" sized diapers are to small. Alex managed to wee on Matt about 5 times during the course of the day. Matt was convinced it was the brand of diapers. We upgraded him to size 1. They're a bit large but they don't leak which is the most important thing.

Here's Alex showing off one of his new outfits. He can be very active these days.

All tuckered out:

We went to the car dealership yesterday to get Alex's stroller serviced. Long queue.

Yesterday evening we gave him a bath and got him all ready for bed

He loves his mirrors

He slept really well until about 2am and then decided he wants to hang out and play with Daddy until 5am. I was so sleepy that I didn't even realize they had disappeared into the other room. At 5am I fed Alex and then put him back down. Here is Matt and Alex (finally) zonked out.

Mau still sleeps in the room for a little while and then leaves as soon as he kicks up a fuss in he middle of the night. She's looking for attention anywhere she can get it.

Sitting on Mom's purse:

And hanging out with my dad and Beej in the backyard. She would never sit in between 2 people before we had Alex. Now she'll take anything she can get.

And I'll leave you with, the Dadbo pineapple. It's Matt's doing. Don't ask.
