Matt did so much around the house - taking care of the laundry (both ours and Alex's), making sure all the bottles were clean, alternating with the dishes, and just generally keeping everything tidy. Plus it was nice to be able hand Alex off to Daddy when I was in desperate need of a nap or just a quick 5 minute break.
The first couple days were a challenge but we quickly found a comfortable routine.

Since we had so many gorgeous days, it would have been a crime to stay locked indoors for too long. We tried to spend as much time together outside as we could.

Matt missed Alex so much while he was at work too. He couldn't wait to come home and see our little guy!
